Nano-HA Toothpaste

Our goal was to create a daily-use toothpaste designed to support a clean, refreshed mouthfeel while helping maintain enamel surface integrity. We wanted the formula to feel simple, intentional, and practical for everyday use rather than overloaded with unnecessary ingredients.

Each ingredient was selected for a specific role in the formula.

Purified Water helps create the base of the toothpaste and contributes to overall consistency.
Vegetable Glycerin helps retain moisture and improves texture, giving the formula a smoother feel.
Hydrated Silica was chosen as a gentle cleaning and polishing ingredient to support a clean, refreshed oral feel.
Xylitol was included to support oral cleanliness and freshness.
Nano Hydroxyapatite was selected because it aligns with our enamel-focused formulation goals and supports enamel surface integrity.
Peppermint Oil provides a clean, refreshing finish during use.
Xanthan Gum helps stabilize the formula and improve consistency.
Geogard ECT is used to help preserve the formula and maintain product stability over time.

We refined the formula through multiple iterations to improve texture, consistency, and overall usability. That included adjusting ingredient ratios so the toothpaste would dispense well, spread smoothly on the toothbrush, feel pleasant in use, and remain stable over time. We also worked to balance the refreshing feel of peppermint with the overall sensory experience of the formula.

We believe a strong formula should be built around ingredients that clearly serve a purpose. Instead of overloading the toothpaste with unnecessary extras, we focused on using a smaller number of functional ingredients that each contribute to cleaning performance, enamel support, texture, freshness, or stability. This keeps the formulation more intentional and easier to understand.

The result is a toothpaste built for daily use with a clear formulation strategy behind it. Each ingredient has a defined role, and the formula was refined to balance performance, texture, freshness, and consistency. The end product is designed to fit naturally into an everyday routine while staying aligned with our broader formulation philosophy.
